President, Action Staffing
Lisa Marshall

Lisa Marshall has lived in South Carolina almost all her life. Her early career opportunities ranged from customer sales and service to account manager for a tool and equipment company and a position as IT team leader working with contract programmers to develop applications to access data necessary to support business decisions and operations. These opportunities provided her with a professional foundation and gave her a broad understanding of manufacturing, technology and business operations that make her such an effective and insightful manager for Action Staffing.

Lisa joined our team when we were still just American Services, Inc. She served with Henry Harrison and Jim Ward who are still leading, inspiring and “making our teams great” today. She now serves as the head of Action Staffing, leading, managing and believing in her team, just as she learned from Henry and Jim. Her leadership continues to exemplify the company’s first goal to “Walk in the Customer’s Footsteps.”

Ms. Marshall has been instrumental in the many successes that Action Staffing has enjoyed over the years as it has expanded from that small beginning to where it is today, supporting manufacturing, distribution, IT, education, entertainment and medical companies. She finds tremendous satisfaction in seeing how Action Staffing has played such a key role in the growth, advancement and success of our associate companies. She attributes much of that success to the corporate and branch team members—hard working professionals who act quickly and diligently to resolve issues and exceed our clients’ requirements. But she also recognizes it’s the employees who work through the challenges to make it happen every single day, one assignment at a time, who are ultimately responsible for our successes. These employees, numbering in the thousands, use their experience, skills, training, education and resourcefulness to overcome the difficulties and accomplish the task, providing well for their families and earning a profit for our clients.

Executive Vice President, Action Staffing
Donna F. Bishop

Donna Bishop was born in Clinton, South Carolina in 1971 and her family moved to Newberry, South Carolina in 1973. She graduated from Newberry High School in 1989 and soon there began her career.

On May 17, 1999, Donna began working with Action Staffing as an on-site coordinator in Clinton, South Carolina at Renfro Corporation. After having worked with Action Staffing just over a year, she was promoted to District Coordinator.

During this period, Donna was promoted again, this time to District Manager. As District Manager she would be responsible for Clinton, Spartanburg and Anderson counties. All site coordinators and district coordinators for those areas reported to Donna. This would allow Donna to focus on promoting and really growing Action Staffing.
